The Bivona Lab at UCSF is a world class biology laboratory using precision medicine to solve cancer. I designed brand which reflects the quality of their work, and built a more inviting website to help recruit the very best talent from around the globe.
Audience and Goals
I set up a few short design exercises with with Dr. Bivona and his team to define the goals of his new websites and to define the personality/traits he wanted to convey to prospective students.
(Skill plug: I also got to snap all of the photos used for the website).
Logo and Branding
Dr. Bivona and team wanted a logomark that evoked precision medicine and they sophisticated techniques used in the lab.
The outcome
Equipped with a new logo, and fresh pictures of the lab at work and at play, the Bivona Lab was ready to start it's next recruiting tomorrow's elite.
